Why should you use a Food Allergy Travel Agent?

When I first really started traveling with a gluten intolerance, I felt lost and overwhelmed with this idea that I had to research each leg of my trip or risk being sick for days post cross contamination. Such a night and day difference from when I had traveled before being gluten-free.

Now many years later I live with a gluten intolerance, dairy sensitivity, and mushroom intolerance. No matter how your allergies affect you, it affects how you travel and that can bring unwanted stress to what should be a fun and relaxing getaway.

Every family I have worked with all want the same thing: to have a genuine family vacation. For their kids to be kids and for the family to make memories together.

So that gets to the question why should you use a food allergy travel agent?

1. Have an Advocate for You

Using a Food Allergy Travel Agent especially one who has a food allergy or has traveled with someone with a food allergy is really giving you someone who has had experience with what to ask prior to your arrival. As well as help you feel prepared before, during, and after traveling. Whether you need your mini fridge emptied in your room prior to arrival or want to know the food allergy policies on property those are all things I can do for you as a Food Allergy Travel Agent.

2. You Just Don’t have the time

Planning a trip when you have a food allergy can become a third job and when you already have a full-time job, a family, and more; letting someone else do the leg work means you get to sit back and just relax.

3. You don’t know where to go

Just figuring out where exactly to go can seem overwhelming when you don’t know where the best places are to go with an allergy. I have had clients ask me for somewhere in the Caribbean and then from there we work to find a place that fits their vacation wants with their needs.

4. You know where you want to go but not sure what resort

Maybe you do know exactly where you want to go but not sure what resorts are accommodating. Whether you are looking for a break from cooking and want to know the resorts food allergy policy or want a full kitchen to be able to prepare meals, I can make recommendations to help you have the trip you want.

From families who have never had the chance to have a family vacation due to allergies or

families who have traveled before but are tired of the hours and days of work that go into it.

Every family is unique and there is no cookie cutter vacation, I curate each vacation to be

exactly what that family wants, what your family wants.

Looking for help for your next family vacation feel free to reach out to me through my

information below and I look forward to working with you!
